Offering a Victorian ruby red pickle castor with. Cut to clear roses and. The glass is old, with ruby stain and cut with two large roses and leaves. A row of thumbprint cuts around the bottom. The pickle jar holder and tongs are bright silverplate and have probably be re-plated in current times. They are decorated with birds, grapes and leaves. The holder is 10 1/2" high and 5" across the base. No maker's marks on any of the three pieces.
Excellent antique condition on the glass with no chips, cracks repairs or scratches. The lid to the jar has been modified with the addition of two washers and a screw to attach it. It wobbles slightly and the washer on the top is visible. The holder has no other issues.
