Large Findlay Onyx Victorian Art Glass Vase

  

This beautiful antique vase is a fine example of Findlay Onyx art glass, made around 1889 by the Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton Company in Findlay, Ohio. The vase features the distinctive yellowish-white opaque glass the company was known for. This vase is accented with raised silver daisy-style decorations. There is a tiny flea bite on the inner rim, visible only upon close inspection. See close-up photo for detail. This piece represents a rare and desirable part of American glass history.
