Rindskopf Pepita aka Grenada Rib Optic Rose Bowl
This is an excellent example of early art glass by Rindskopf. It's called Pepita, and also known as Grenada. This is the Rose Bowl shape and not seen too often.
It has a Ruby top that shades down to clear glass which contains a kind of green oil spot pattern and is Iridized. It is also a Rib Optic pattern.
It stands 3 3/8 tall. It's in excellent condition for it's age of well over 100 years.
No chips or cracks and no mineral deposit or stains inside. The pontil area was pushed up and not ground. The inside edge of the top crimp has some rough areas that were caused during manufacture.
They are clearly on the underside of the top edge. These were caused by the workers tools and are not chips.
Any unusual white or dark spots are caused by camera glare. This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home.
