Pair Kralik Art Glass Rose Bowls Opalescent or Pearlescent Glass Antique c 1890
A pair of antique opalescent glass rose bowls by Kralik circa 1890. They are very decorative and collectable pair of rose bowl vases made of opalescent or pearlescent glass with a bulbous, lobed body and three scrolled green glass feet. The rose bowls are white glass and have a lovely milky hue with an oil on water effect lustre. The scrolled or curled feet are in a rich green colour glass which also gives off flashes of purple and blue iridescence. They each have pierced decorative brass flower holders or frogs.
The rose bowls are in excellent antique condition with just a few very minor fleabites to the inner edge of the glass rim, under the metal holders. This is a great pair of vases and lovely and very decorative for display and use. Height 5 inches (12.5 cm) Diameter 5 3/4 inches (14.6 cm) Width 3 inches (7.5 cm) Weight 903 grammes unpacked.
