Wave Crest Hand Painted mantle vase C. F. Monroe

  

This ornate mantle vase, highly decorated with hand painted thistles, stands 10 " high, and is about 3" at it's widest point. The ormolu metal base is losing its high sheen but holds the piece beautifully. I have two vases with identical patterns but different hand painted flowers on each.
