VTG Ermanno Nason for Vetreria Cenedese, Green Scavo Glass Pitcher, Italy, 1964
Atchive of Cenedese glassworks, Murano, Italy. Ermano Nason designed this beautiful Scavo glass hand blown vase pitcher for Vetreria Gino Cenedese in 1964, inspired by Greek vases of antiquity, and covered with carbonates, nitrates and silica at extreme temperatures to appear like an artefact excavated from the earth. Only few examples were produced.
