The side of the pitcher has a line of glass that is a defect in the glassmaking process not a crack also there is a clear dot on the top of the spout area that is also a glass making process defect, Both issues are shown in the last 2 photos. This pitcher measures approximately 9.5" tall with the spout opening being approximately 6.25" accross at the widest point and weighs 3lbs 10 ounces unpackaged.
