Here's a great example of Victorian art glass. Most likely made in Bohemia ca. This beautiful Basket is Opaque Pink with a White lined interior. It's in excellent condition.
No chips or cracks and no mineral deposit. It has an applied clear colorless looped handle and on the side are applied florals.
The pontil is a rough. It's 7 1/4" tall x 6" long x 4 3/4 wide. On the side there are a couple of inclusions in the glass made during manufacture. This is a very pretty basket.
Any other unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare. This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home.
