Victorian Midwest Pomona Floral Enameled Art Glass Celery Vase
Here is a wonderful Satin finish with a Dot Optic pattern 7 tall Celery Vase decorated with enamel florals and Amber stain. The maker is unknown but believed to have been made by New England Glass that was located in the Cambridge area of Boston, ca 1880's. It was around the same time New England Glass was making their Pomona line c. This type of art glass incorporates all of what was being made during this time. Satin finish, enamel florals, Amber Staining, elaborate creations. The pontil is ground and finely polished. At well over 100 years old it's a true antique. No chips or cracks and no stains or mineral deposit. There is some very minor ware to the amber stain. The floral decoration is in excellent condition. There is a water pitcher to match. Any unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare.
Ware on the bottom is commensurate to it's age. This will make a great functional accessory to any Victorian home.
