This simple but classically formed Victorian era Bohemian made blue die away to crystal over uranium opal satin glass vase may possibly be a Harrach blank that was intended for decorating. We have seen others of similar form with gilt flower decorations that were made by them. This would have been likely made in the 1890s into the early 1900s. The vase stands 9-5/8" (24.4 cm) tall and measures approximately 5-1/2" (14 cm) across.
There are a few spots in the glass from manufacture shown in photo five and some debris within the glass that shows in photos 7-9. Spots like these are not uncommon in older glass. The piece is in excellent condition without chips, flea bites, scratches, or staining. It has a nicely finished ground and polished pontil scar. You may view our other items.
