Victorian Cased Art Glass 10 Vase, Amber Rim, Drapery Pattern, c. 1900
This listing is for a lovely Victorian Period cased glass vase with glossy finish dating from the late 19th Century to the early 20th Century. The vase has a tall size with slender body and wide ruffled rim. The exterior of the vase has a rich rose coloration at the top that fades to white on the lower body which is cased over white. The top has a wide deeply ruffled design with a contrasting amber/topaz applied glass rim.
The vase is blown glass with a ribbed drapery pattern in the glass. This is a beautiful example of Victorian Art Glass although we have not determined the maker. The vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. Measures 10" high with a 5" wide ruffled top and a 3 1/2 base diameter.
