Victorian Butterscotch Cased Hand Enameled Daisies Brides Basket With Frame
Victorian Butterscotch Enameled Daisies Bowl. Up for your consideration is an antique cased glass brides basket wit frame. The interior of the bowl has butterscotch at the top edge and fades to a light pink and then white in the center with a clear top edge. It has been hand enameled with daisies and brown stems. The exterior of the bowl is white, and does have a ground pontil on the bottom.
The frame is marked on the bottom with a W in a Star with cobwebs around it and Quadruple Plate 0216. It also has a date of 5/14/41. This mark belongs to E.
The frame stands 11" tall, and measures 12" diameter at the widest point. The bowl stands 3" tall, and measures 11" diameter across the double crimped edge.The base of the bowl measures 2 3/4 diameter. The frame does have some peeling in the silver as shown in the photos. There is little to no wear in the enamel. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks.
