Victorian Bohemian Antique Art Glass JIP Jack-in-the-Pulpit Vase
This is a beautiful example of early Victorian Art Glass. It is a beautiful 7 1/4 tall JIP Jack in the Pulpit vase. This is White Opal glass and flashed with a kind of Maroon color on the edge. The dimple effect is very pronounced. Pontil rough and snapped off and recessed on the bottom. It is not known for sure who the maker is but it is Victorian c. Ware on the bottom is commensurate to it's age. There are no chips or cracks and no stains or discoloration. In the photo you'll see in the center and elongated oval shape. This is a spot where the flash did not adhere and occurred during manufacture. It is not damage and it is not a bubble burst or bruise. It is completely smooth on the surface and mentioned only for accuracy. This is a beautiful piece and the photos do not do justice. Any unusual white spots shown in the photos are from camera glare. This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home. The item "Victorian Bohemian Antique Art Glass JIP Jack-in-the-Pulpit Vase" is in sale since Sunday, December 20, 2015.
