What an Unusual and Striking piece! This is a Victorian era.

In BRIGHT YELLOW Art Glass with White Opalescent "Marbling" swirling ramdomly through the glass. It is decorated in the Aesthetic style of the day with a little Brown Bird, Gold Butterflies and Branches of Red Berries with Green & Brown Leaves - a simple Golden Sprig decorates the back of the jar - all accented with GOLD!

The metal mount has a gray pewter look - possibly English - no maker's mark - believed to have been made in the late 19th century. Measurements : 10 tall (handle up), 7.
