A beautiful antique Victorian Arts and Crafts / Jugendstil brooch pin. Wonderful iconic form, with a pierced design, almost like a winged heart, with a central peacock foil glass cabochon set in a bezel mount. White metal (unmarked, I don't think it is silver) but it does have a pale gold plating or gilding to the front.

Some of the gilding is worn around the centre, and there is a light crazing to the top of the cabochon. The peacock foil glass is beautiful, brightest blue and green.
