A base of blown glass of a beautiful light, blue color and white striping with a right twist measuring 4 1/2 inches in width. The upper globe is made of an opaque white glass, which is complementary to the base. When you compare the white striping of the bottom it looks blue with the light blue glass over coating. The top of the base is rough cut so there are some minor flakes but nothing of substantial noting.
It's a very simple, but elegant design.
