Victorian Antique Wilcox Quadruple Silver Plate Art Glass Brides Basket Figural

The listing is for a silver plate brides basket which was manufactured by the Wilcox Silver Company in Quadruple Plate which dates it's production prior to 1913 when manufacturers of silver plate discontinued the process of quadruple plating their items. There is no IS mark incorporated with the Wilcox mark which would further date it prior to 1898. The aesthetic basket features a floral double handle and pierced feet. The delicate colored cased glass insert fits into the opening. Condition: The brides basket is in fine condition as shown in the pictures.

The silver plate is shiny and bright and there are no monograms or visible repairs. The glass insert is free of chips, cracks or discoloration. Size: It stands 11.25 inches tall and measures 9.5 inches wide across the handle.
