TS Victorian Vaseline Matching Pair of Harrach Enameled Uranium Rose Bowls
This is an opposing pair of Victorian era rose bowls. They were produced in Bohemia around the 1890's by Harrach. These 2-handled rose bowls contain uranium and fluoresce like vaseline glass. Notice how the 2 bluebirds are flying towards each other. The bowls have a satin finish and enameled birds and florals. The enamel also includes some clear coralene to accent the flowers on the limbs. Pairs like these are quite hard to find as so many met an early demise. Their bases have rough pontils.
