STUNNING ART GLASS vase in figural antique silverplate frame stand. OPALESCENT
Featuring clear rigoree around the lip. And trailing petite white florals dangling down around the sides. Not to mention the awesome figural grape vine and leaves surmounting the pedestal base. This is one of the most beautiful vases w silver plate stands that I have owned! The Middletown Plate Company of Middletown, Connecticut. Was in business early on from 1866 to 1899. VASE: no issues, no nibbles, cracks, or missing points.
FRAME: Silver plate looks pretty good to me. One open weld from frame to leaf detail (see photo).
The vase fits down into the frame nicely but not totally snug. So if picked up quickly or carelessly. The vase will lean and tilt.
