Stuart & Sons Rare Victorian Era Ruby Bowl with Yellow Canary Glass Rigoree & Mat So Nu Ke Style Applied Miniature Flowers. Mat So Nu Ke is a Japanese Term which Stevens & Williams used when they acquired a Patent on their Applied Glass Floral Pattern. English Art Glass at its finest!!! Thick paneled bottom- top rim has 6 low Crimps evenly spaced and consistent in size- similar to T Webb Crimping Style. Measures 4.25 wide and 2 tall. Several florettes have rough edges but nothing large enough to photograph. No cracks or damage to other parts of the bowl. Hand blown round concave finished Pontil. Depending on the reference source this ruby red bowl was made by Thomas Webb or Stuart & Sons. Both being English Art Glass makers of the 1890s Victorian Era.
