Founded in 1970, the Lundberg studios quickly became famous for their quality art glass pieces they created. Two brothers, James and Steven Lundberg began operations in San Jose, California, moving in 1973 to Davenport where they officially formed the Lundberg Studios. It was here that they designed and created some of the most amazing art glass to date, many original designs. A tragedy struck in 1992 when James Lundberg lost his life due to a bicycling accident. Later in 1997 the remaining brother Steven left the company to form his own studio, The Steven Lundberg Glass Art Studio in Santa Cruz.
It was here where he continued creating beautiful works of art, his son Justin joining the company in 2002. Again tragedy struck as Stephen was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease and ultimately passed in 2008. This particular item was created by the Steven Lundberg Glass Art Studio after he moved to his new facility. The design emulates the pulled feather pattern produced 100+ years earlier by famous companies such as Durand and Tiffany. This trumpet vase stands a full 9 1/2 inches tall with the top opening measuring 5 inches diameter.
The original label from the studio can be seen on the bottom as well as a script signature and a year of production, 2002. This example is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. I will mention on the bottom and as visible in the pictures some shelfware, scratches which do not harm the value or beauty in anyway. A truly spectacular example to highlight any space in the room. Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.

Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting many fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Decorative Pottery & Glassware\Vases".
