Rare Early Loetz Green Onyx Dek I/358 C1890 Glas Glass Tray Vase

This is a large and rare piece of early Loetz'footed' art glass. An extraordinary large and heavy'centrepiece' dish/bowl of a rare Loetz Green Onyx Dek I/358.

It has an interesting asymetrical design and may possibly have been a carrier for other pieces of the same décor, like a dressing table set. However there's no evidence of any surface marks to the interior, so, I have my doubts on that.

The glass is 1/4" thick, it is 12" (30cm) at its widest X 8.5" (22cm) and 3.5" (9cm) tall. Weighs in at 5.3lbs (2.5kg).
