RARE Bohemian Moser Amethyst Embossed COPPER & ENAMELED Rose Art Glass Vase
This incredibly rare Moser vase is in excellent condition. Blown of translucent amethyst glass with a embossed Rose pattern on each side of the vase. The yellow rose with greenery is. The other side of the embossed rose vase is a iridescent copper or rose gold colour with white enameled accent trim. Extremely jewel toned and vibrant on both sides of the vase.
The rim is polished cut, and has hand painted gold trim. Ground pontil edges on the base.
The amethyst glass does react under a black light. A creative design of having two vases in one with the different hand painted sides. Possibly a continuous representation of the four seasons. The yellow rose blooms in the spring and summer, as the copper rose withers in the fall and winter.
