Rare Antique Thomas Webb or Mount Washington Burmese Glass Vase-Japonisme Design

A Burmese glass vase, the colour transforming from a salmon pink through to a pale yellow. Wonderful decoration in the Japanese manner of birds, reeds and blossoms, the centres of some flowers picked out with jeweled work. A polished pontil to the underside. The attributions is to Mount Washington, the company which first produced Burmese glass, but it could well be by Thomas Webb, which also manufactured Burmese glass, but the decoration I feel is more typical of Mt Washington.
A beautiful vase, extremely rare to find this style of painting on Burmese glass. Size: height 21 cm, 9.5 cm diam, weight 380 g.
Condition: excellent antique condition, with possibly some light staining on the globular base, no further issues. Please view all the photos before purchasing, they complete the description. While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting. All white spots are purely light reflections from the camera flash. The item will first be wrapped in bubble before packing securely in a solid box with lots of peanuts - earthquake proof.
