And it was a rumor she had started this style of glass enameled painting in the 1890's which is proven to be false. There is no proof that she ever painted anything like this at all but the name stuck. Friedrick Egermann is now credited for most of this glass in the earlier years. In 1815 Egermann started using enameled called Bisque Pearls which is white enemaled dots like arounmd the top of this two piece.

This is painted by Hosch Glass Co. The lady at the Antique Store had one of the catologs of Carl Hosch which are available at the corning Museum of Glass and this is in one of the Catologs.
