Quilted Mother of Pearl Yellow Manganese Glass Cased Satin 6 Vase Victorian
Victorian-era case satin glass bud vase in a hand blown quilted mother of pearl or air trap pattern. Yellow-ish green glass made with manganese, fluoresces to orange under UV light. Just over 6 inches high, in very good condition--looks like some dust has maybe gotten into some of the air gaps from the top rim but no chips or cracks. No markings that I can see, but similar yellow manganese air trap glass was produced in the 1880s by Thomas Webb, English glassmaker.
