Pr Antique Baccarat style HURRICANE MANTEL LAMP Cut Crystal/HandDecorated Enamel

Items under consideration are Antique, circa1900, beautiful Baccarat Attributed pair of 22 inch Tall, Luster, Hand-Painted Enamel glass, Hurricane Lamps with Beautiful Hand-Etched and Hand-painted Crystal Shades(chimneys). The glass is molded in the Baccarat Medallion pattern. The set is unsigned which is common Baccarat early 1900s. Original candle holders were converted to electrical use with the addition of power cords and lamp sockets. Beautiful, Rare and in Excellent Condition. The 10 1/2 inch tall Crystal Shade has a scalloped 4 1/2 diameter rim with a 1/4 inch gold trim. There is a 2 1/2 inch tall hand-cut diamond shaped design with star bursts on the lower portion of the shade. The hand-cut pattern has gilt gold applied to the cuts. Above the etchings are eight 2 7/8 inch hand-painted floral designs in white enamel. Above the florals is a 3/4 inch cut-diamond design with applied gold around the circumference of the shade.

The bottom of the shade has a 1 3/8 inch tall metal band cemented to the crystal shade, to prevent damage. The lamp body is made from two 11 3/4 inch tall pressed glass segments. There are six 1 1/2 inch diameter round medallions on the base and six 1 inch medallions at the top. The 12 medallions contain hand painted white enamel flowers and are trimmed in gold.

The beveled center stem of lamp body contain six 4 3/4 inch tall handpainted white enamel floral displays. The beveled stem is surrounded by 10 cut-crystal 4 inch long drop prisms hanging from a painted collar. The 4 inch diameter collar is. Divided into ten 1 1/8 inch sections, each containing a white enameled flower.

The ten 4 inch long, 3/4 inch wide cut crystal drop prisms are attached to the centers of the 10 collar sections. Dimensions: Height including shade- 22 inches. Height excluding shade- 12 1/2 inch. Height of shade- 10 1/2 inch. Diameter across rim of shade- 4 1/2 inch.
