PALLME KONIG Antique Art Nouveau Green Iridized Art Glass Bowl Bronze Stand 1880
Please note that our items are vintage or antique and they might show some signs of wear and usage. These are not mint and super perfect items just from the factory (unless we mention that). We do our best to describe any flaw, we think is significant, in the CONDITION section.
The bowl is hand blown with visible stencil mark on the bottom. This stunning decorative piece is artfully made of iridized green glass with pattern, adorned with ruffled top and intricate three-legged bronze stand. The Pallme glass works dates from ca. 1786, established in Steinschonau, Austria by Ignaz Pallme-Konig. During the Art Nouveau period the glass company produced high quality iridized glass.
This piece is one of finest production. The bowl is as seen in the photos. Pallme-Konig and glass is not usually signed. The bowl with stand measures approx. 4.75" tall and 4.75" across the top. The antique glass bowl is in very good condition with very minimal signs of age. Some bronze leaf-petals of the stand are missing (please see photos), reflected in the asking price, but that doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece. Most of our items are in excellent or very good condition (unless otherwise specified). We provide very fare descriptions.
