PAIR WEBB OPAL ART GLASS 5.25 VASES, GILT DECORATION, c. 1900

  

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely pair of Webb opal glass enamel decorated vases, c. They vases have opal glass bodies with creamy ivory coloration that will fluoresce under a black light. The design features a crimped rim and a hand painted gilded floral pattern applied using a heavy layer of gold. Although unmarked, these vases are attributed to Webb & Sons, England from the late 1890's to the early 1900's. Measure 5 1/4" high with a 3" diameter top and a 2 3/4 diameter base. These nice vases are in very good to excellent Estate condition. As the gilded design is not fired, there is some minor wear to these areas.
