Pair of Antique / Vintage Red Victorian Spatter Glass Baskets With Thorn Handles
This is a beautiful pair of antique or vintage red Victorian spatter glass baskets with thorn handles, we believe from the 19th or 20th Century. The pictures show the that the two baskets, while almost identical, have slightly different handles, owing to the fact that they are hand made. The baskets each stand approximately 6 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" wide.
These baskets have been in our family for more than 70 years and have never been displayed; for the last 50 years they have been in the back of a cabinet in our smoke free home. We cannot find any chips or scratches on the baskets or handles themselves; however if you look closely at the round bottom of the basket on the right (in the last picture just showing bottoms), you can see a tiny chip in the light green, at approximately 6 o'clock.
