Ornate Victorian Banquet Lamp with Cased Art Glass Shade - 1880's - 100% original. This signed Matthews & Willard banquet lamp is 100% original and functional. The fount is in perfect condition with no issues at all. The reticulated base is beautifully cast with a floral pattern around the fount holder, and a very fancy embossed fount.

All of the original patina is present throughout. The original flame spreader is also present, signed M&W. A temporary light has been inserted to demonstrate how the shade looks when illuminated. This lamp can be electrified free of charge and in such a way as to avoid any harm to the original components, if so desired. The shade is cased opal-to-clear glass with very fine carvings throughout, finely detailed with superior craftsmanship-- no issues whatsoever. DIMENSIONS: 33 from base to top of chimney.
