Mt Washington Colonial Ware Hand Painted Fish Lobster & Raised Gold Glass Vase. Rare hand blown white opaline glass vase with hand painted fish, water lily, seaweed and lobster. Gold gilding to the applied handles and to the opening. Ground and polished pontiled base. Marked on the base with a crown above a wreath and 1004 in red.
This mark was used by Mt Washing / Mount Washington for their Colonial Ware line, circa 1870 to 1890s. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 7 1/4 inches wide x 6 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
