Mont Joye Paris Art Glass Cranberry to Clear Twisted Enameled Poppy Vase

The glass itself is fabulous, with a "twisted" design, with a deep red to a cranberry frosted glass, fading to clear frosted glass. A definite artist painted a fabulous pink and white poppy in full bloom, with a detailed gilt center and incredible sensuous stems, with leaves and buds, Each section is highlighted in a fine gilt detail. The top edge has an almost feather design gilt edge, with a band of gilt at the base. There are two slightly shimy spots in the frosted cranberry and an interior "bubble" in the glass (which is quite common in this old glass). Not damage, just mentioning for accuracy.

The artwork is truly superb. This vase is quite large, measuring 12" in height and about 4 1/4" across at the base. No chips, cracks or repairs of any kind.
