Matched Pair Ca 1880's Ruby Engraved Bohemian Pokals, Mint Condition Uncommom
I just acquired this pair of mint condition, circa 1880's, heavy thick walled and engraved Pokals, covered vessels, each approx 13 1/4 H and each weighing approx 3 pounds, 10 oz. They do not have any chips, no cracks, the ruby surface being without scratches. This is uncommon, to find two matched pieces in this kind of condition. THESE ARE NOT REPRODUCTIONS OR LATER ISSUES. The quality of engraving is fine, each vessel with an image of a Male deer pursuing an Doe in a verdant woods. These are large at 13 1/4" H and almost 5" W at the foot.
