Large Victorian MOP Glass Silverplate Tazza Centerpiece Bowl Antique Blue Satin
Offered for sale is this large Victorian era mother of peal blue satin glass and silverplate centerpiece tazza. It's a beautiful piece of glass with a herringbone pattern in it. The silverplate stand was made in 2 parts and has a Greek Key pattern. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. This is an impressively large piece. It is approximately 15 inches tall and is just over 15 inches diameter. The glass is in excellent condition, there are no chips or cracks and little to no surface wear. The join between the 2 parts of the base is a little untidy (it was made like this) and the silverplate has some areas of wear and tarnish. It could use a polish in all the nooks and crannies. There is dent on the bottom of the base - the tip of the pen is pointing to this. Please see the close up pictures. The base is hand marked with some numbers as shown. Unfortunately, we have no control over that. The item "Large Victorian MOP Glass Silverplate Tazza Centerpiece Bowl Antique Blue Satin" is in sale since Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
