Harrach Antique Victorian Passion Flower Art Glass Vase with Hand Painted Frit

  

This unique Bohemian hand painted art glass vase depicts a gorgeous blooming vine that extends around the vase of Passion Flowers. Blown of custard coloured glass with a satin finish. Pillow shaped form with flared crimped rim. Hand painted with vibrant polychrome colours has an added frit texture like sand. Not sure if this is finely ground glass frit or if this is actual sand. Never seen this style of artistic decoration on glass. Sand painting is called Marmotinto. Last photo is of another vase I had a few years ago with the same passion flower design, but in a different shape and blown of satin pink cased glass. Polished pontil on the applied colourless satin glass footed base. The rim is 7-1/4" x 6" diameter, and the base is 6-1/2 diameter. Best offers and questions are graciously welcomed!
