YOU CAN USE WITH BOTH LIGHTS ON OR JUST THE TOP LIGHT ON. Electric Cord is old as the lamp and shows some wear with the age: see pics. No chips, no cracks in the red fenton glass. Bulb socket is off center. The white / clear glass hurricane chimney shows some wear scuff marks: see pics.
