Clambroth Victorian Bohemian Glass Vase w handpainted decoration ca 1890 14

Presented by Gin-For's Odditiques. Large Bohemian Glass Vase, Clambroth.
Go back a couple of decades, and this Victorian era vase would have been attributed to a British company, but current suspicions for much such work is now Bohemian... But still no specific company. With the bulbous body and significant height, the vase is quietly imposing. Color is a semi-translucent opaline with light gray/green shading...
Handpainted decoration is fairly well done and brings the eye in rather well. The glass itself is also handmade/blown. Height is about 14" and width about 8". Condition is excellent with no damage or repairs, although there's some wear on the decoration... Aside from being the right thing to do. If you have any questions, just get in touch. My joints may not be so flexible anymore, but our service can still bend to suit your needs.... With some limits, of course. This Is Us: What's "Gin-For"? It also stands for Ginny and Forrest, and Odditiques is oddities and antiques. I wanted top billing, but For-Gin didn't seem quite right in the antiques game.Hope you've enjoyed seeing the item and maybe got a chuckle, too. No extra charge for chuckles, giggles, or smiles. The photo with Berlioz is essentially our logo, and the Lancelot mug is just for perspective, not for sale. Cats and batteries not included, although a search will find the cats on their own pages as well as finding more Gin-For's Odditiques.
