Ca. 1880's Uncommon Crown Milano Glass Style, Bride's Bowl, Mount Washington Or
This late 19th C art glass bowl is or comes very close to Mount Washington's Crown Milano. It is perfect, no nicks or chips, no cracks or scratches. It measures about 9 1/2" W x 3 1/2" D, with no company or other marks. The base measures 3 7/8" across the foot which would sit into a basket frame, the height of that foot is only 1/4". The feature of having simple painting on the exterior adds interest/beauty to the bowl, and the repeats inside the bowl remind one of cloth bell pulls and textiles. The weight is almost 2 lbs. Most of my items close on Sunday evenings, 9:00 Central.
