1880 Antique Harrach Glass Altar Vase Catholic Hand Cut Gold Rim. Very rare antique from circa late 19th. Beautiful old vase attributed to Czech Bohemian glass maker Harrach. Not signed but unmistakable piece in my opinion.
The Harrach Glass House, nestled in the remote mountains of Northern Bohemia, was started in 1712 by Count Harrach. Their production was so prolific that they also provided blanks for other glass houses and employed a large number of designers and decorators. Many pieces attributed to other makers have eventually proven to be Harrach productions, and identification still remains a challenge. 11 3/4 x 4 1/3 inches.
