Bohemian Art Glass Oil Spot Miniature Vase/Toothpick-Loetz Kralik Victorian
Diminutive in size but huge in presentation. We have an absolutely beautiful example of early 20th century Bohemian art glass produced by one of the renowned companies in Eastern Europe operating during this time. I tend to believe this was produced at Loetz, however, other firms in the area created similar works of art.
What makes this example so special is its actual size. Standing in at 1 3/4 tall, the outside is covered with a mottled oil spot iridescence visible also on the bottom. The inside has a deep purple treatment. For use as either a tiny vase or possibly a toothpick holder, this special example has absolutely no damage or repairs. The base also measures 1 3/4 diameter. A distinct polished pontil visible on the bottom. This example will fit in any miniature collection. Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description. Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting numerous fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future.
