Antique Victorian Pan Ceiling Light Fixture VASELINE URANIUM ART GLASS SHADES
This outstanding antique chandelier is fresh from a local estate. It has been restored with a rich hand-painted antique brass finish and rewired. Now it is ready for a new home! As you can see, it has a gorgeous Victorian style oak leaf design with hints of Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau influence.
I would estimate it dates to the 1910's at the latest. The main pan measures 16" across, for a total width of about 18" and hanging length of 33 including the shades.
This fixture features a very rare set of satin finish opalescent uranium art glass shades. In any case, these stunning shades are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The metal of the chandelier is in good shape as well, with some light overall wear including a few small dents and small splits. The ceiling canopy has some old soldered repairs visible in the interior. All things considered, this chandelier is in very good condition for its 100+ years of age and looks absolutely stunning when installed.
