Antique Victorian Glass Beadwork Tray Ebonised Brass Handle Art Nouveau

  

A lovely original Victorian Glass Beadwork Tray with impressive black wooden base and brass handles. The colours are really gorgeous and the pattern has an art nouveau look. Item measures : handle to handle approx 66 cm and 33 cm wide. Item weight: approx 2.5kg. Please note the condition of this item has some signs of wear and tear - more to the trim around the edge of the beadwork in this case.

There is also one small patch where the beadwork has been lost. The brass beadwork trim and other detailed brass trim around the tray is overall good but one part of the latter trim has slipped and would benefit from a replacement nail. Some marks/ scratches to ebonised wood. Although the tray has been cleaned gently and polished it could do with some extra work to bring it back to its original glory. I have tried to take as many photos indoors and some outdoors to show the areas of the tray or beadwork and any flaws. Please do ask if you need any more detail or need more information.
