Antique Victorian Art Glass Single Lily Epergne Shaded Pink Satin Moire Enameled

I have for sale an outstanding Victorian art glass single lily epergne. This stunning epergne dates ca. The glass is homogeneous, and shades from a deep pink to a bluish white. The pattern in the glass is known as satin moire and is rarely encountered.

The edge of the crimped ruffled bowl and the mouth of crimped ruffled lily is edged in a frosted clear glass. The beautiful piece is further enhanced with hand applied enameling. There are berries, flowers, scrolls and also castles outlined in metallic gold. This impressive single lily epergne stands almost 20 tall. The bowl is 11" in diameter and the mouth of the lily is 6 1/2" in diameter.

I have been a collector of fine art glass for many years and have collected numerous epergnes. I have yet to see another one like this!! The lily rests in an embossed metal vase attached to the center of the bowl. The bowl sets above a turned standard that rests on a footed base that is also ornately embossed. There is absolutely no damage or flaws of any kind to this fantastic epergne.

I attribute this piece to the Mt. I found no marks on the metal, but most likely the Pairpoint Company would have made the metal components. I give honest and accurate descriptions to best of my knowledge. I ask that you please view all photos and read the full descriptions.
