A cranberry pink glass snake forms the handle of the vessel, its body stylishly coils around the lower portion of the ewer. Hand painted enamel floral sprays adorn the shoulder of the vessel while the body of the snake is decorated with glistening gold to simulate the snakes scales. The combination of radiant blue, cranberry pink and glistening gold is incredibly attractive and exceptionally rare in a piece from this period. CONDITION: This piece is presented in excellent.
