Antique Victorian Amber enamelled art glass hinged trinket jewelry BOX ormolu
A delightful antique Bohemian trinket box of hand blown. Amber glass with hand painted enamel design. Not only a fine example of antique art glass, but a charming whimsey treasure from the Victorian era. These antique glass boxes are truly wonderful, ranging in a variety of colours and shapes and such absolutely beautiful, great to collect and display for all to see. This box in here mounted into bronze mounts with hinged lid and'S' shaped clasp; hinge and clasp work properly.
The box stands on 3 decorative foot 3 1/2" (9 cm) high, 4" (10.4 cm) diameter at the widest. Overall in good condition for its age, showing slight wear to enamel, but has no chips, cracks or repair.
