For sale is an antique Bohemian dark ruby red cut to clear crystal vase with outstanding hand engraved image of a singing bird, very unlike the vague animals etc. Usually depicted on this type of glass.
Vase measures 10 1/2 inches in height and 5 inches in diameter across the top opening, the rim measuring 1/4 of an inch thick, vase weighing 1Kg 304 grams (2 pounds 14 oz). Has some scuffs on the base as well as a very tiny chip on the base. There are some imperfections in the design (2mm scuff line), not sure if this was a flaw of the design process.
