An exceptional piece of English Art Nouveau glass decorated by Jules Barbe for Thomas Webb & Sons. It is comprised of a gourd form body with a fluted and pinched neck that leads down to a flared pinched and twisted body in a rare shade of rich, vibrant green over a white cased glass interior. The body is decorated in the manner of Jules Barbe with golden vines wrapping around the it culminating in a large central flower blossom with leaves in gold and the blossoms in white and pink, branching out are several more pink and white flower buds. This is a breathtakingly beautiful piece in person, it is absolutely stunning! The bottom is incised 3. It is in superb overall condition for its age with no nicks, chips or cracks to the glass, the enamel is intact with some very minor wear to it typical for its age, there is trapped ash and ash streaks to the interior from manufacturing.

It stands 8-1/4" tall by 2-5/8" wide across the rim. The body is 4-7/8" at its widest and the base measures 2-7/8" wide. DO NOT DUPLICATE OR COPY!
