Antique Moser/Moser Type Art Glass Vase Egg Shape, Ornate, Enamel Jewels, Gilt
A rare and beautiful antique Moser or Moser type Czech Art Glass egg-shaped (or pear shaped) lidded and footed vase/jar. Features delicate, milk-color, hand blown glass, and adorned with ornate enameled decorations and enameled jeweled details. Lovely, large, raised enamel gilt leafs.
This beautiful piece is about 8 H to the tip of the lid. To the best of my knowledge this piece is late 19thC. Condition: AS IS due to a large chip on the rim (lid).
Some chipping on the feet and the lid handle (the clear class elements that attach to the top part of the lid, some have chips). Other than that some wear to gold and enamels. This is very elaborate piece and the above stated defects are not very noticeable. To the best of my knowledge this piece is of Bohemian origin.
