Weight- 3 pounds, 7.2 ounces. The luster is beautifully crafted and hand detailed. It's made of fine clear fluid Bohemian Czech crystal glass. The luster features a round base with a hollow central stem that supports a scalloped edged, detailed etched, bobeche. The luster is beautifully hand-etched with lovely diamond and strawberry designs on the bobeche.

A flared 10 sided decorated stem (photos# 2, 3, 5, 7, & 10) that is hollow to enabling water containment to extinguish a low burning candle. It is adorned with 9 sparkling clear and beautifully cut faceted spear drop prisms. Background: Lusters were popular upscale home decorations during the Victorian era. Overall expensive, they were found in the homes of the wealthy and usually displayed in a prominent place such as a parlor fireplace mantel, sideboard or console table. The lusters were often used as candle holders as the sparkling prisms would help amplify light in candle-lit interiors.
